2. Uso de used to como auxiliar modal (used to= Ø, soler, acostumbrar)

Es un verbo defectivo que carece de infinitivo, de presente, de participio pasado y de participio presente. Solo tiene forma de pasado.

Va seguido de to y, a continuación, se sitúa el infinitivo del verbo principal.

Es preciso diferenciar el verbo auxiliar used to del verbo principal to use. Este último tiene las mismas formas que un verbo regular cualquiera.
